Through coaching, customized workshops, and a range of services that support leaders’ exploration of next right steps, Susan helps clients transform blind spots into bright spots.

She has coached employees at the CIA and individual clients ranging from Fortune 50 executives to one of Hollywood's most creative directors.

Susan mastered the art and science of this work throughout a 30-year career in the worlds of media, boardroom leadership, and coaching. She earned her communications chops as a producer and script writer at the BBC, Discovery Channel, and C-SPAN. As a vice president at NACD, Susan has guided and equipped senior executives and boardroom leaders to elevate their expertise and best position themselves for success. As a content specialist, she’s moderated panels and spoken at national conferences on topics ranging from leadership to crisis communications. Through her boutique practice Bright Spots Coaching, Susan has worked with executives and board members in a range of industries. Susan earned a BA in international relations and communications from Tufts University. She is an NACD Governance Fellow and is certified as a leadership coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
